In South Africa, Gica discovered her passion for the hotel and travel industry, which motivated her to pursue her academic and professional career in this field. In 1991, Gica moved to Germany, where she founded her own company, International Travel Partners, in 1996. This company specializes in marketing, sales, and representation, reflecting Gica’s deep commitment and knowledge of Southern and Eastern Africa. Gica is not only a successful businesswoman but also a passionate expert on Africa. Her extensive knowledge of Southern and Eastern Africa makes her a valuable specialist in the travel industry and a sought-after partner for international business.

Maxine is Gica’s daughter and has been closely connected to the company and its activities from an early age. Even as a child, she regularly traveled to Africa, which gave her a deep understanding of the wildlife, environment, culture, and hotels/lodges there. Since 2017, Maxine has been actively supporting the company behind the scenes, managing its social media presence, website, and creating newsletters. Although Maxine is currently focused on her studies, she already takes on a variety of tasks within the company whenever her schedule allows.
